Associate Membership

This is a voting membership which may be held by any person 18 years of age and older.

To retain voting and membership privileges, a Member must meet the following criteria:

  • Maintain at least one animal on active inventory (an animal on active inventory is defined as one that has been assessed by Total Herd Reporting (THR), in accordance with the current version of the RAAA’s Breeder’s Guide: Rules and Regulations, or is of age to be assessed), and
  • Maintain current dues status.

Regular members of the Association are required to participate in THR, as more fully described in the current version of the RAAA’s Breeder’s Guide: Rules and Regulations.

Privileges of a Regular Membership

  • Registry privileges open only to members of the RAAA.
  • Receive access to complete performance programs on all your cattle.
  • Participate in Bi-Annual National Cattle Evaluation(NCE).
  • Subscription to American Red Angus Magazine.
  • Breeding Herd Inventory Listings.
  • Online Access to Personal Account Information.

 

 

 

This is a non-voting membership which may be held by any person under the age of twenty one (21) years.

  • A Junior Membership may be converted to a Regular Membership, upon that Junior Member attaining eighteen (18) years of age, by submitting the required fees associated with a Regular Membership.
  • Junior members of the Association are required to participate in THR as more fully described in the current version of the RAAA’s Breeders Guide: Rules and Regulations.
  • Junior members automatically age out and are immediately inactive upon attaining age 21, however, at that time may convert their membership to a regular membership by completing and submitting a regular membership application with the required joining fee.

    Privileges of a Junior Membership

    • Registry privileges open only to members of the RAAA.
    • Receive access to complete performance programs on all your cattle.
    • Participate in Bi-Annual National Cattle Evaluation. (NCE)
    • Breeding Herd Inventory Listings.
    • Online Access to Personal Account Information.
    • Subscription to American Red Angus Magazine, unless there is already a subscription within the same household.

 

 

 

Associate Members shall not have voting or registration privileges, nor can they participate in THR.

  • A person shall complete the necessary application form.
  • Have an interest in or other nexus to the promotion of the Red Angus breed, and maintain current dues status.

Privileges of an Associate Membership

  • May record data under the compute option.
  • Receives a subscription to the American Red Angus Magazine.
